Sunday, March 2nd, the second round of the Ashruf Iron Burger Battle will be held at Bar Zuid on Van Sommelsdijckstraat. Five teams will compete for a place in the grand final to be held in December, after which the Ultimate Iron Burger Chef of Suriname will be known. The composition of the jury is a nod to the Miss – pageants, instead of the ladies to be assessed they will have the last word and they get to decide which team has the hottest, most original and juicy burger!
The Ashruf Iron Burger Battle @ Bar Zuid consists of four preliminary rounds and a final. Umar Nazir and Ken Doorson have won, the first round on 15 December last year, with the Big Texan. Next Sunday is the second round, after which the third and fourth rounds will be held on Sunday, June 2nd and Sunday, September 3rd. The finals are on Sunday, December 2nd. All Ashruf Iron Burger Battles are held in Bar Zuid. The main sponsors of this event are Ashruf Slagerij and Bar Zuid.

On the second round the following teams who will participate are: Lolo Koekroe, Pane e Pasta , Woodstock and Brainwave and Unker Bunker – Jamrock. Each company presents an original signature burger that is the representative of the restaurant or caterer in question and after proven success in the Burger Battle it will appears on the menu of the restaurant or caterer in question.
The Ashruf Iron Burger Battle @ Bar Zuid starts at 16:00h and lasts until 22:00h. The direction of the event is in the hands of MC Gabor Staakman. DJ Djaz_C will treat participants, visitors and the jury on easy lazy beats and tunes. Of course, all hamburgers also available to the public.

Ashruf Iron Burger Battle @ Bar Zuid
Zondag 2 maart wordt in Bar Zuid aan de Van Sommelsdijckstraat de tweede ronde van de Ashruf Iron Burger Battle @ Bar Zuid georganiseerd. Vijf deelnemende teams zullen strijden om een plaats in de grote finale die in december wordt gehouden, waarna de Ultimate Iron Burger Chef van Suriname bekend wordt. De samenstelling van de jury is een knipoog naar de Miss-verkiezingen, in plaats van dat de dames worden beoordeeld is nu het laatste woord aan hun en mogen zij beslissen welk team de lekkerste, origineelste en meest juicy hamburger heeft gemaakt!
De Ashruf Iron Burger Battle @ Bar Zuid bestaat uit vier voorrondes en een finale. Umar Nazier en Ken Doorson hebben met de Big Texan, de eerste ronde op 15 december vorig jaar gewonnen. Aanstaande zondag is de tweede ronde, waarna op zondag 2 juni en zondag 3 september de resepectievelijk derde en vierde ronde worden gehouden. De finale is zondag 2 december. Alle Ashruf Iron Burger Battles worden gehouden in Bar Zuid. Hoofdsponsors van dit evenement zijn Slagerij Ashruf en Bar Zuid.
Aan de tweede ronde nemen de volgende teams mee: Lolo Koekroe, Pane e Pasta, Woodstock en Brainwave en Unker Bunker-Jamrock. Elk bedrijf presenteert een originele signature hamburger die representatief is voor het restaurant of de cateraar in kwestie en na bewezen succes tijdens de Burger Battle op de menukaart van het betreffende bedrijf verschijnt.
De Ashruf Iron Burger Battle @ Bar Zuid begint om 16.00 uur en duurt tot 22.00 uur. De regie van het evenement is in handen van MC Gabor Staakman. DJ Djaz_C trakteert deelnemers, bezoekers en jurlyleden op easy beats en lazy tunes. Uiteraard zijn alle hamburgers ook verkrijgbaar voor het publiek.
