A Foodie’s Idea for Valentine’s Day

Even though Valentine’s Day is almost over, I still wanted to share this with you.

If you have a foodie in your life, Valentine’s Day can be extra special! Here are some wonderful ideas to enjoy the day together. Either you prepare it for them, or they’ll do it for you. It’s a win-win, and you don’t have to do this for Valentine’s Day only. 😉

Breakfast

Breakfast in bed, anyone? Even though your mornings can be chaotic at times, breakfast in bed is one great start of the day for a foodie. Make some delicious American Pancakes, drizzle it with Honey (Pure Honey from Coronie, Suriname is still the best -I think-). Serve with a glass of fresh orange juice and add a flower next to the plate. Faya Lobi marks the fire of your love for them.

You can find the recipe for Fluffy American Pancakes here.

Lunch at work

You do not always have the send or bring flowers and cards. It’s not edible 😉 Suggesting a box of personalized cookies with a lovely text written on them. Or just deliver them a simple homemade meal: Pasta Alfredo with chicken together with Turkey Bacon salad.

Keto Lunch

If you are in to Low Carb, here’s a great idea for Keto Lunch – Low Carb:
Cauliflower Nasi Goreng… Indo Chicken… Petjil… Sugarfree peanutsauce… boiled egg and coconut sambal. A meal by Wendy’s Keto Line

Dinner

Heart-Shaped Lasagna Bundt
Share your heart with the loved ones this Valentine’s Day. This fun lasagna does feed 10 and is filled with a red meat sauce that oozes out when you slice into it.

Dessert for two

Vegan Brownies (small batch)
Just a little dessert for two would do the trick! Bake your own Vegan brownies for two (small batch) made with just almond butter, maple syrup, and cocoa powder. Crazy, right? Crazy good!
