“Students” are raising Funds for their Internship abroad

Yesterday evening we had the pleasure of enjoying food from recently certificate chefs. They received their Certificate on June 25th, 2014.

Of course every chef needs to have more experience to become the Chef that they want to be and others can appreciate. For this they need to explore the world, starting with their first Internship abroad, within the region – Trinidad.

To raise funds for their internship, the group of “students” organised a fundraising dinner at their school, SHTTC. Each student needs about $1500 (all-included).

When the person makes a reservation for the dinner, they could let them know which meat they prefer, chicken or beef.

The menu:

  • Starter – cold – Smoked Bang Bang Filet (ACOUPA ROUGE (Red Acoupa)) on a bed of green salad with honey mustard sauce

  • Starter – warm  – Mushroom soup

Every dinner needs wine! 35* South – Merlot – Wine of Chile (SAN PEDRO)

  • Main course – Tenderloin steak on a bed of potatoes finished with parmesan cheese and vegetables mix (broccoli, cauliflower and carrots with oregano)  OR Chicken fillet rolled with Turkey back on a bed of paprika and onion sauce  with potatoes finished with parmesan cheese and vegetables mix (broccoli, cauliflower and carrots with oregano)

  • Dessert – Borgoe Flan
You can support them by contacting Kimberly Pooters-Nurse and coming to dinner OR just give them a small donation!
