We’ve been trying to go to this fairly new restaurant, De Vliegende Hollander is its name.
It opened its doors in September 2013, and is situated in the culinary, tourism and hospitality school of Suriname (SHTTC).
Every weekend you think of where to go and what to eat… Sometimes you just stay at home and cook-up a meal, or you just go and head out for one.

This restaurant can hold up to 60 people… maybe more. It has an open setup, you can sit under the stars or you can sit roofed in.
The restaurant is only open in the weekends, because the school has morning, afternoon and evening classes. Either way it is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy your meals.

We’ve only tried a few… They were absolutely delicious and worth a 2nd, 3rd or any other number of visits. We’ll let you know if and when we tried something else…
