May 31 – June 4, 2016  –  The ‘Fête de la Cuisine Suriname’, an event set up based on the example of the Culinary Festival on St Martin, is gradually becoming a concept in Suriname.

The Foundation Para Parc Suriname, and in particular Jean Nolet – Pinas and Paul Nolet have been the initiators of the first Fête in 2013.


Tuesday, May 31:

  • Event: Amuse Dinner in Residence Inn
  • 10-12 amuses
  • excluding beverages
  • Entertainment: Jazz band from Holland

Wednesday, June 1:

  • Event: Midweek Dinner in Marriott
  • 3 course dinner including 1 glass of wine
  • Entertainment: Jazz band from Holland

Saturday, June 4:

  • Event: Gala Dinner in Royal Torarica
  • 5 course dinner
  • Wine and non-alcoholic drinks included
  • Entertainment: Fashion show from
  • Kirsten Regalado Special guest miss USA !
  • Entertainment: Jazz band from Holland
